Activities of the Center

The Center’s mission is to carry out theoretical and empirical researches, organize seminars, conferences, expert meetings on topics related to a wide range of topics, like cultural and communication processes, the family, education, the world of work, the old and new mass media, lifestyles, welfare, social policies, the development of local communities, artificial intelligence and robotics, and so on, deepening their implications in terms of training and social practices pursued within the perspective of the relational theory of society. Despite having a sociological background, activities will still have an interdisciplinary character as recommended by the more general relational paradigm.

These activities will benefit from a network of national and foreign scholars who are working in the field of relational thinking, and are interested in developing studies on the relational constitution of the human person and social formations. Many of them are already available for collaboration by networking theirs resources ( see the website www.relationalstudies.net).
